Thankfully, my wife and I have sold out condo. Thanks to everyone that supported us with information and getting the word out.
I heard from one of my friends that in the middle of the playoffs his 46 inch samsung dlp tv started going on the blink. He's one of those guys that always, and I mean ALWAYS buys the warrantly. It didn't help him watch and playoff action, but he learned that his tv didn't need anything except for a new bulb. I didn't even realize tv's took bulbs.
Appartently they do, and they're not very cheap. He was told that this one was covered but that was it, so he'll have to figure it out on his own from there.
I found this site, tvlampsnbulbs.com - nothing fancy, actually it's pretty basic, but has some pretty cool info.
